What Does the Placement Cell Do?

The College has a strong focus to create and nurture employability amongst students. The College has a very active full time Placement Cell that ensures high level training and maximum number of placements for students in reputed companies in India and Abroad.

Objectives

To create awareness amongst students about job requirements of various companies.

To organize workshops, seminars, industry visits to generate confidence among students before campus placement.

To encourage the students to take up Industry related projects independently.

Recruiting Candidates On Campus

The campus recruitment process consists of a written test, group discussion and personal interview. The written tests are usually performed to check the technical aptitude and logical reasoning of the participating candidates. The candidates who pass the written test are then called for group discussion where they are put in groups of 6-12 people and given a topic to speak on for about 10-15 minutes. During the group discussion the interviewee evaluates the performance of every candidate on parameters that range from knowledge, speaking skills, language, leadership, team involvement, listening ability to the ones decided by the interviewing company. Those who clear this stage are then called for a personal interview with the interviewing company that seeks to know the candidate more in terms of his/her goals and aspirations and if he/she would make the best fit for the organization.
